After reading reviews on multiple, more inexpensive chain salons across the island, I had settled on this salon for convenience sake as I was taking my daughter to get her hair cut next door. I walked in with no appointment and got service immediately. It has been over a year since I had my hair cut, after it was mauled by an elderly, (albeit sweet) Filipino lady working at the Fantastic Sam’s in Mililani Shopping Center. Chong, on the other hand, asked me what I wanted and with great attention to detail removed all of my dead ends and I left with great hair. Andy is the man! I only go to see him. He always gets my fade tight and gets me looking sharp. I definitely wish he did a little bit better at dusting the hair off of my ears and face when he is done, but that is minor stuff. I once went there and had an older lady cut my son’s hair. It was absolutely awful. Shortly thereafter, a kid I know has a haircut that is messed up. I ask where he went. He said, "Great Clips in Moanalua Shoping Center." I asked, "Let me guess. Was it the older lady?" Sure enough. It was her.
In short, go to Andy, secondly Katrina. I am not sure about anyone else, but don’t go to the old lady.

Located in the Moanalua Shopping Center. Great service, one of the faster Great Clips on island for wait time as compared to the Pearl City or even Kapolei branch. Use their app to make an appointment or see beforehand how long the wait is.
They sometimes run unadvertised haircut sales for $9.99 and $14.99....last time i visited i lucked out and got a haircut for $9.99. Hard to beat these prices these days, even for haircuts on base?
