I highly recommend Mid Pacific Eyecare for your eye care needs. We are visiting Honolulu for vacation and my daughter lost a contact while swimming in the ocean. Thank Heaven for Leilani and everyone at Mid Pacific Eyecare, they came to our rescue. Leilani was so helpful, caring and understanding. An Outstanding job! Thank you again, Natalie

Update on Mid Pacific Eyecare today I stopped by to pick up couple contact lenses to last me until my annual check up on 8/19. I called in and talked to one of the old timers Leilani and she said no problem just come down and it will be ready . I advised her to make sure to charge me and she said no it's ok . So of course I didn't feel comfortable if there not going to charge me so I brought Manapua and some pork hash for the office . To my surprise you can see my pics Leilani actually gave me way more contact because she said after my appointment it takes awhile to order them . If your looking for a new Optometrist I think there taking new patients Mid Pacific Eyecare is top notch customer service, friendly, efficient, and updated technology. I've been coming here at least 30yrs plus . Originally Dr.Kevin Lui was the owner and the Optometrist but he retired. So now there's two eye doctors Dr.Shimabukuru and the one that I go to is Dr.Lai. Mid Pacific Eye care is located at the corner of Kaheka and Makaloa St. across from First Hawaiian bank . There on the 5th floor and they validate parking in the building. Support local

Dr. Cherilyn Lai and the entire staff are always helpful, personable, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. They are very patient, thorough and supportive, listening to all my inquiries regarding my overall health issues. The office is very clean and well organized and well-stocked with available eyeglasses to view. Always a pleasant setting whenever I have an eye appointment. Excellent! Nothing to complain! Overall, experience is always great!!!
