The intimate eatery is BYOB and serves authentic Japanese cuisine with a wide menu selection of classic izakaya fare and top quality seafood. The restaurant emphasizes freshness, with shipments arriving 2-3 times a week, ensuring high-quality ingredients. The chef is dedicated to creating beautiful dishes, and the attentive servers make guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food is always fresh and tasty, with the fish especially praised for its quality. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for hanging out with friends or enjoying a casual date night in a clean, comfortable setting. The place has a vibe similar to a neighborhood diner in Japan, making it a great place to experience authentic Japanese flavors in a relaxed environment.
Grocery by day, restaurant by night. BYOB and gave us a whole bowl of ice to chill our drinks. Had a group table of 6 and brought wine, beer, and sake. Service fast and friendly! Food outstandingly fresh and delicious. Varied menu. Special place and will be back - hopefully as regulars in the future!
The lady who served us were very friendly and offered free ice cream for my husband's late birthday celebration. We order the sashimi omakasi and the value was great, we got toro, uni, sweet shrimp and etc. I am almost full after having my portion of the sashimi. Other dishes were good, especially the monk fish liver.
This is one of our favorite places to have a solid casual dinner. It is not fancy so shorts and tee shirt is accepted. Wear what makes you happy that day. It is a small Japanese grocery store and they have bentos during the day. At night they serve dinner and there are two seatings. You can bring your own sake or wine. The menu offers a variety of Japanese izakaya dishes and they are fresh, delicious and consistent. The staff is what makes it a place we go to time and time again. They are so accommodating, courteous and make you feel like you are back in Japan. It is a good place to practice your Japanese!
