It's been awhile since I got my eyebrows threaded. I looked on Yelp to see what places in the Honolulu area did eyebrow threading for a reasonable price. There were a few to choose from but it seemed that Aesti had the most positive reviews and number of reviews from the ones I looked at. It was about $8 cheaper than a place in kakaako I was going to try out. I had texted to see if there was an availability this month and there was one this Saturday morning. Aesti is located in the same area as Fujiyama Texas, parking lot had only a few cars when I came. Walked up the stairs, although I think there's an elevator. Opened the door and Risa came out from one of the few rooms. Inside had a couple chairs for people to sit on if they had to wait, environment was clean and chic, and there was some pop music playing in the background. As I went into the room to get my eyebrows threaded, she said that she would clean up the brows first and ask what else I wanted to do. I could tell she was being detailed on cleaning up my brows because I could hear little snips and she would wipe away the tiny hairs that she trimmed, comb it a little and then thread. She also did a little plucking too. After cleaning it up, she gave me a mirror to look at my brows and they were alot cleaner looking and had more shape. I thought maybe one side could use a tiny bit more trimming since it was thicker looking than the other brow and she did it. I also asked about other eyebrow related services that I had questions on to see if it would be right for me and she shared her insight on it. I'll be coming back to get my brows threaded from Risa. :)
I'm always skeptical when trying to find a new place to get my eyebrows threaded. I have been going here for over a year and I LOVE it. The place is so clean, the rooms are relaxing, and she takes her time and does a GREAT job. I've gotten my first lash lift here too which turns out amazing every time. Parking lot can fill up depending on what time you go, but I usually can find street parking too.
Risa is the best! She is not only amazing at what she does but she is so sweet and makes you feel instantly comfortable. She was helpful in determining what the best look for me would be and I am so happy with the results! I will definitely be back to see Risa and you should go see her too!!!
