I do not consider myself a spa junkie but I do make it a point to visit the spa whenever I visit Oahu; Abhasa Spa is my go-to place whenever I am in Honolulu and want to get some more me time to decompress. Spa visits are one of many things I do to integrate more self-care into my life and Abhasa Spa is in a league of its own among its peers along Waikiki Beach.

I got a massage here on my last day in Hawaii. Everyone was friendly and helpful (especially given that I booked the same day). My massage therapist was great and was attentive and adjusted the pressure as I needed. I got an outdoor massage which was delightful and very relaxing. The steam room and jacuzzi in the locker area was a really nice plus, and I spent about 40 minutes there after my massage. Prices are certainly high, but fairly standard for beach resort setting and I would definitely return the next time I want to splurge.

If you are looking for a spa to experience a lomi lomi massage or deep tissue, I would highly recommend Abhasa Spa located in the heart of Waikiki beach. My wife and I were blown away. From booking, greeting, massage, and amenities, welcoming, personal, and dedicated to your relaxation. 5/5 would recommend to anyone. Add in the essential oils, it’s such a treat and a great value. 80 minutes is the way to go. Beautiful scenery, ASMR natural outdoor sounds… can’t ask for more. Mahalo!
