I made an appointment with Dr. Ng because he is one of a few Ophthalmologists (M.D.) in Hilo. Wow this is probably one of the most comprehensive eye exams I have had after going to other ophthalmologists in Hilo and California. The staff is all very nice and the office is clean and well appointed. The testing equipment is all state of the art. They also have a large selection of eyeglass frames too .

Eye exam… wrong prescription… smh… I called to discuss… I’m spreading the word and filing complaint! ?They contacted me to make another appt and, I’m impressed that they done good on their efforts. So I increased the ⭐️!

I certainly would not recommend this business to anyone. The short story is that I asked for specific services only to get new prescription for glasses, no additional tests or anything else; but they bill me for additional services and the worst part is that the prescriptions that I was given were wrong! I ordered 2 eyeglasses from an online company that I had previously used and like, and the prescriptions are so way off I can't see clearly and the additional expense to buy 2 more new glasses and go to another optometrist for correct prescriptions is... expensive malpractice. I guess I'll be filing a formal complaint with the powers that can address this faulty business. I emailed and called them but haven't received a callback or any satisfactory response.
