If you want hardwood flooring in your house and you live anywhere in Hawaii, you need to buy your flooring here. It won't buckle and cup. Hal is such a knowledgeable craftsman. I wish he were in charge of our island's forestry. The county wastes so much it's insane. Anyway, his mill is doing this island a great service. The flooring he produces should be sold for twice what it is. All the wood is grown locally. Got logs? Bring them in and he can make you flooring!
