“I had been looking for an artist that was able to match my witchy/whimsical aesthetic and one day, as if the Universe granted my wish, a coworker of mine showed me Kamakana's work on Instagram and I immediately fell in love. Her talent and passion for tattooing is insane and I just can't get over how amazing of a person she is. I've had the pleasure of being poked and prodded by her twice and both times have been a pleasant experience, with minimal pain and a quick recovery. I am bummed that she is leaving the island but I am stoked for her new adventures ahead. As far as the shop itself goes, everyone that I have encountered there has chill vibes and are very welcoming and a fun loving bunch. Shop is nice and clean and is in a very convenient part of Haleiwa, across from the McD's and next to a food truck haven.
