I've been having problems with a certain leak in the roof in my patio and everyone, including myself, could not solve the leak. I've had my son's friends come and fix the leak. But, no matter what they did or I did, the leak persisted. Then I had another persistent leak occur in my entryway that I spent a lot of time and money trying to fix it myself. So, after being neglectful for a while, I finally succumbed to my wife's "reminders" and sought estimates from various roofing companies. My mistake the last time was to accept the lowest bid when I reroofed and I realize now that I could have avoided a lot of costs if I didn't decide to be cheap. Just so happens that I accepted Tulba's bid, regardless that he was the lowest bidder. The other companies were either way too high or they didn't get back to me. Sorry, but I forgot Tulba's first name but he actually looks like Augie T, but I never asked. When the job was being done, he never left and stayed at the job. I asked him if the roof leaked again, can I call him back. My roof leaked again, but when I called him he scheduled a day to come back to fix the problem as promised. Again, Tulba stayed for the entire repair and explained to me that redid all he could and if it leaked again it would be beyond the scope of what he replied. My roof did not leak the last time I had a good rain. I chose Tulba's because of cost, but more so because Tulba really seemed to be someone you can trust. Ernie Tulba was recommended to us via another professional craftsman and we consider ourselves very lucky. We got a call the very same day and Ernie came the next day to look at our metal standing seam roof.The next day we already got a proposal. Actually from the beginning we only wanted to have a small area of the roof repaired. Somehow we had so much confidence in Ernie (rightfully so) that instead of a minor repair we opted to also to have the whole roof painted. Can't say enough good things about Ernie and his crew. Very responsive, competitive quote, quality work. Goes out of his way for his customers. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.
