I appreciated the level of care that came across in all of our interactions, both toward my dog and myself. They spent a good deal of time reviewing prior history, physically evaluating my dog, and asking relevant questions. It came across as being thorough which I honestly struggled with at another Neuro (Blue Pearl).After my dog had a MRI the doctor did a great job of trying to explain things so it was understandable and digestible. BVNS was able to diagnose an issue my 13-year-old Chiweenie has experienced since he was a puppy. It required an MRI, which was not cheap, but we've spent so much time and money over the years without ever getting a believable or accurate diagnosis that it was money well spent. I'll continue to take my dog to BVNS (now merging with Atlanta Veterinary Specialty & Emergency in Alpharetta) regularly (on a quarterly basis) for them to keep an eye on his condition. And of course, I'll continue to take him to his primary care vet. BTW, Wrigley has/had an auto-immune issues which damaged the muscle running down his back (tail-end). Dr. Akin and the entire staff as BVNS made us feel so comfortable and seen throughout our entire visit. We came in after an emergency vet visit a few days prior and were treated so well, and felt so confident that they were doing everything for our dog.
