TERRIBLE job fixing my Frye boots. I wish I could have given this business either no stars or negative stars.To be clear, this location is on highway 92 in Woodstock in front of Sam's Club. I drove a long way to Woodstock because I had heard great things about this town. What a mistake!!!I showed the young woman working there the seam where the leather sole was separating from the shoe. She suggested that I could save money by just gluing the sole back. I very clearly specified that I did not want it glued, rather that I wanted the sole REPLACED on both shoes.Instead, this business glued the original sole back on, then attached a half sole over it????? I've had two items altered here and both turned out perfectly. One was a leather jacket and needed to be taken in just a little. She had the alterations completed in a few days and did an incredible job. I imagine altering real leather isn't the easiest, but she made it look like the jacket was originally constructed that way and the price was right. Will definitely continue taking my clothing items to her.

I drove a long way to Woodstock because I had heard great things about the Town. What a mistake I showed the young woman working there where the leather sole was separating at the bottom. She suggested that I could save money by just glueing the sole back. I very clearly specified that I did not want it glued, rather that I wanted the sole replaced. Instead, this business glued the original sole back on, then attached a half sole and heel. They miss cut the heel and sole about 1/16 of an inch too large and the overlap was visible. Terrible job. THE WORST PART WAS THE SQUEAKING. Every step was accentuated with a noisy squeak!! Also after a couple of days I could see the seam coming apart where the original separation occurred! What a terrible job. I went to another shoe repair closer to where I lived and the individual there immediately asked if I had them repaired by this shop. He said he has received several shoes from other clients who were unhappy with the repair. So STAY AWAY!!!!
