A few years ago, my senior pit Layla had a sudden instance of extreme pain, it was not at all clear what the issue was. We went to the emergency vet and my usual vet, neither could find anything wrong and suspected it was a back issue, possibly a slipped disc that wasn't showing up on scans. Even on heavy sedatives, painkillers, and steroids, she was in severe pain and couldn't walk. A friend suggested I try acupuncture, and despite having very little hope of it working, I drove the 45 minutes each way for sessions at Winterville Animal Clinic. When my vet in Oconee County became exorbitantly expensive my grandson recommended Winterville Animal Clinic. I am so glad he did. My previous vet recommended that Loch'n be sedated before his visits - he's not aggressive just very high energy. When I made this appointment I asked if they wanted him sedated. They said of course not.
Loch'n was in canine heaven there he was with three young beautiful girls who founded over him as though he were a movie star. I swear when we got home bluffton's head was so big he couldn't get through the front door!!!

1st time as an adult I have a Cat-i took Zoe to Winterville Animal Clinic last year to get her fixed and for her shots they were super super polite and answered all my question never making me feel dumb to anything I asked and never made me feel rushed. Took Zoe back today bc I had some concerns and once again-the tech that came out to get her was so nice and treated Zoe like she is one of their own. Dr. Anna came out to talk to me about all my concerns and I left feeling so greatful that I have this Vet to take Zoe to. Easy to schedule appt on line-, got in to see them quickly did not have to wait past my appt time they are wonderful!! I cannot say enough great things... read full review
