Warning: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. USE HOME INSTEAD! The company is unethical -- tries to bill unused services from dead people. It did not try to send a bill, did not try to make a phone call, this company goes straight to submit a lawsuit at the Athens Courthouse. It submits lawsuits after the company owner finds out from the local newspaper's obituary that the client is dead. Oconee Are Home Care does everything to take advantage of the chaos after a person's death. Some of the caretakers were ok, but this company is owned by a scammer.

I would recommend Home Instead to anyone. Their staff are dependable, sincere, and incredibly helpful.

I was fortunate enough to be referred by a family friend who had used Oconee Area Home Care. Of course we were nervous at first to have strangers come into our home and care for my dad, however this has been the best experience. Everyone from the Nurses, the office staff, and the Home Health Aides that have come into our home have made this transition so easy! They have allowed us to keep dad at home, in his own environment. I really don't know what we would have done without this company, because our other option was the nursing home since my siblings and I work and we really didn't want that and neither did dad.
