Always a great experience here. I usually
go in when my neck or back is hurting and they go in deep and get out the kinks. They are always polite and I've never had a bad experience. I would suggest paying cash though. Sometimes the debit holds more than what you pay for a couple days.
The prices on their website does not match the prices in store, but they do have a sign saying that the prices in store are the correct prices. For the service, I went in for the hour foot massage and it was great. I think it was around $60 or so, great pressure, and friendly staff. They offer a punch card, after so many services you get on free. Would likely return for another massage.
Judy had strong hands and she did a good job of loosening up my back... Unfortunately, what I asked for was a hand and foot reflexology massage(30 mins of each) so I was unsure when the owner/front desk attendant led me back to a room and asked me to prepare as for a regular massage. Then I thought to myself- hey, what do I know about this kind of massage, might as well follow directions. I'm not sure if what I requested was just lost in translation but my hands and feet hardly got the attention they so desperately needed(the tops of both of my feet had a single, tiny, almost healed scratch from my new boots I got a couple weeks before. I think that freaked her out because she left for about five minutes and came back with little bandaids that she put on them and then did not touch them again). As I said before though, she loosened up my back, neck and arms a good bit. Another thing was that in addition to the bandaid fetching, she left the room a couple more times during the massage and was chatting to the other woman. As far as the place itself goes- it could definitely use some upgrades. The lobby is unattended and unwelcoming until I heard someone calling "Hello! Hello!" to me after a minute or two- I felt like I shouldn't be in there, like they were closed, almost? The table, sheets and "blanket"(towel) were shabby and blanket/towel did not cover my body(it was basically a bath towel with frayed edges). The ambiance is not that of a spa/salon at all. In fact, it was so dark in there it kind of felt like I was sneaking down the hall of my parents house as a teenager when I was led back. With all that being said- this place is inexpensive. If you want a good, hard pressure back massage for an hour, it's $60! That is unheard of! I bet that if I didn't have a scab on my feet that would probably be good as well. The massage is NOT a Swedish massage, it is not relaxing with lotions, oils, etc(until maybe the last five minutes, otherwise it is a lot of over the towel kneading)- but it gets the job done if you are in pain! I feel like Judy has great potential as a MT and the other woman I met was very kind to me. They just need someone to help spruce the place up and maybe a couple of part time employees who can run the front desk and communicate guests desires to the massage therapists. I will probably try them again for just a reflexology foot massage(with perfectly healthy feet skin) or just a back massage. I hope that this helps and gives some constructive criticism to the owners :)
