I only leave reviews when my experience is either exceptional or horrendous. In the case of The Gate 5 Barber Shop, my experience was phenomenal. Twan was extremely professional and attentive. Unlike my previous barber, Twan actually catered my haircut to me and not his idea of what I wanted. Before I departed from the chair, I was certain that I would return. The shop has a vintage feel to it; reminding me of when I use to go to the barbershop as a child in the 90s.
I’ve literally been all around the world but there’s just something about the hometown barbershop that’s just a whole vibe. It doesn’t matter what the topic is, it’s gonna be lively, funny and it don’t get any better than with the crew at Gate 5.
I've been a customer of Gate 5 Barber for over 15 years! Cecil is my regular hairstylist and Mr. Stubbs has trimmed my hair also. They're great at their jobs and always pleasant and friendly. We have great conversations.
