I took my dog to Mirror Lake Animal Hospital for an emergency visit yesterday, and I could not be more pleased with our experience! We were not established patients, but the staff was extremely compassionate and worked to get us in quickly! Dr. McCullough and her staff were extremely attentive and thorough as the examined and treated my dog. She even called today to check on him. I am so thankful for the level of care we received there. I will only take my dog here from now on!
2 of my dogs died of a collapse trachea and none of the surrounding vets were able to properly diagnose the small breeds. When Dasha, my Yorkie, began to display the same symptoms, Dr. Harper immediately diagnosed her and we were able to promptly treat the prognosis.
Vet and vet tech were kind and comforting for my dog as he got poked and prodded. They were very professional and caring during his appointment. Checkout was a frustrating situation that wasn't handled as professionally in my mind. There isn't any upfront communication that American Express is not an accepted form of payment and that was all I had. So it was not a great ending to an otherwise good experience.
