“We just moved here from Florida in August and I have been looking for a good barber for my 14 to soon. We have previously gone to 4 barbers around Valdosta just to be disappointed. So I decided to take him to Empire in the Valdosta Mall because they had very good reviews. Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by Alex who asked us to have a seat and they would get us in. Around 7pm Tajon called my son up. During the cut, Tajon was giving my son positive encouragement about school and academics. He was a very positive young man. I appreciated that. I was completely unaware that the mall closed at 8. About 820 he completed my son's haircut, I paid and Alex asked where we parked. I told him I'm the front of the mall. He then proceeded to call security to meet us to let us out of the mall. It was an overall awesome experience. I would definitely be taking my son back but this time with an appt. If you are new or a regular to Valdosta and need a great barbershop, Empire is the one!!!!“

“The haircut was good and at the end of the day, that's what I went for. The professionalism leaves a lot to be desired. When I was up to get a cut, barber went outside and talked on his phone and continued to do so while cutting my hair during. It wasn't until another customer said something that I got into the seat. I could also do without some of the "America is racist" and "racist system" talk too but it's whatever. Just don't politicize your shop, that isolates folks assuming you like business.“

Experience was great and left with a good hair cut. I even asked Brittany to go down a little bit more on my hair when she had already cut my hair, she was more than willing too. She was a cool lady and didn’t mind my particular instructions and she nailed it. Go Brittany. I came in with a mess of hair and made me look sharp. The only side note I have is to dive more into fades but I do understand it’s hard to get a 10/10 fade for blondes. Other than that she put in layers, which I didn’t even know I needed. Thank you again!
