“I used to be pretty nervous about going to urgent care. This place changed how I feel. They were all so kind and easygoing. Emily is the PA who helped me, and I really loved her demeanor. It was very clear that her only goal was to help me… it was the way all doctors should be. She even called me later that day to check on me, which seems so above-and-beyond for a physician who treats random people all day long. If all the PAs here are like her, I can’t recommend this place enough.“

“I thought that kidney stones were causing the terrible pain that had started in my back at the beginning of a 3 day holiday weekend. Didn't want to suffer with it until I could only hope to make an appt with my PCP on Tuesday. Got a same day appt at Peachtree for Sunday afternoon. After the PA performed a urinalysis, she discovered a bacteria that was causing a UTI which had the same symptoms as kidney stones. She prescribed antibiotics which I started taking that afternoon. They apparently started working immediately because I was finally able to get a good night's sleep. Was 100% better the following morning. This was my 2nd visit to this office (the first was to get treatment for a broken wrist a few months ago) and I have been very impressed with them on both occasions. They were able to see me quickly both times and then promptly provide the necessary treatment.“

“All of the staff members that my daughter & I came in contact with on this evening Tuesday August 6,2024 at the Piedmont urgent care facility at the north Decatur road location and Amber at the Howell mill road location, were very customer service centric, the ladies were also polite, friendly and lastly all the ladies were attentive. “I really feel for the staff, people come in sick, complain because other sick people are being seen as quickly as they can, health insurance billing is a nightmare to begin with, but in my experience, they have been kind, caring, accommodating and Dr. Rikhter is one of our favorite doctors with a great bedside manner.We switched insurance and are dealing with not being able to choose our PCP, but we will be continuing with Perimeter Clinic as self-pay if they can't get us sorted...can't do anything more than put my money where my mouth is.“

“Where do I begin! I got to Georgia about a week ago and was faced with a usual issue. Allergies and let to an infection. I got to North Georgia Urgent Care as a referral from a family member. The only disappointment was the lady at the front desk should be friendly. The Nurse and the Nurse practitioner were amazing the show empathy, and care. “We have been going to this urgent care for years. We have never had any issues. I usually go right when they open to avoid being there too long because it definitely can get packed at times. They used to let you schedule a time online but since Covid you just have to wing it. Everyone has always been friendly and service has always been top notch. I have 2 children and like I said we have been at this location several times. The only issue we have ever had was my daughter needed antibiotics for strep throat and I was told that I may have an issue with stock of the antibiotic. When I went to CVS I was told there was none within 20 mins from my location. I called to the urgent care and asked them to change the prescription to a different antibiotic and the doctor refused and they suggested I find a different pharmacy. I explained I did not plan on spending my Saturday searching for medication. And if I told you she was allergic you would have no choice to change the prescription, they still refused. The next day I called 2 walgreens before finding it. Went to pick it up only to be told they do not accept my insurance. Was told to go to the Walmart which was across the street and luckily it was in stock and they took my insurance. Again this was one doctor and 1 incident. And we have been here several times so I will keep my 5 star rating. Last time I was at a regular emergency room THAT took forever. Ill take CHOA anyday!“
