Performance Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

After a stemless shoulder replacement, I started physical therapy at the Trenton office. I started therapy a few weeks later than most patients, and had a lot of ground to make up. Laura Durel was my therapist, and she was invaluable in helping me regain range of motion and strength. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this office if necessary in the future, and highly recommend them.

June 5th I will get my 5th joint replacement (left knee). I'm grateful not to have the pain of grinding joints, and the new ones work good because I did the PT! You'd think by this time it would be old hat, but I'm dreading this rehab because I have really been a couch potato the last year. I WILL be glad to work with Performance Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Rome again. They helped me after my last joint replacement, the right knee. They are a great group of physical therapists; nice people masquerading as slave drivers. (PT, yuck! ?) Seriously, the best I've worked with.

I had my knees replaced 4 months apart. I was a little nervous about going to physical therapy, but the knowledge and kindness of every single member of the staff made it a great experience! I know that my recovery only went so well because of the amazing people at Performance! There is no way I could ever thank them enough!
