100% Recommend! This crew did a great work on our red oak floors. It’s more than the “job” for these folks. On time, reliable, honest, friendly, fair priced, hard working, quality work, clear communication, fast responses, everything you would be looking for. Our project consisted of removing particle board from a carpeted room and installing new red oak to blend with the existing red oak in the rest of the house. Then, sanding and refinishing all areas with a penetrating oil! The new floor blends better than we excepted. The attention to detail was obvious. The little requests we made were performed without skimping. Not more than a week after the floors were completed, I dropped a quart of paint on the beautiful fresh floors…. My husband and I cleaned it up with water and a citrus cleaner but the damage had been done. I contacted Joe and he and his team were back soon. They repaired the damage with a friendly smile and no judgement to my mistake. I’m happy to keep supporting this local business. We look forward to having Red Hills Hardwood back for regular deep clean and maintenance services on our hardwood floors.

Joe is masterful at his “art” and work ethic. I would never use anyone else to do my wood flooring jobs from now on! Professional, well educated and diligent man!

Red Hills Lumber Co specializes in high-quality longleaf heart pine and southern yellow pine flooring, paneling, siding, trim and moulding, including quartersawn/vertical grain. We also have limited quantities of other softwoods and hardwoods, beams and timbers, slabs, custom cuts, and specialty lumber. We provide custom sawing, kiln-drying, and millwork services. For other lumber items, if you're ordering in large volumes we can often beat big box stores and other lumber yards on price. We have bandsaws capable of cutting up to 65" wide, an edger, 24" planer, Weinig six-head moulder capable of milling up to 10" rough-width lumber into a variety of profiles, and two dry-kilns with ~7,000 BF combined capacity.
