On March 8, 2024 at 10:10 PM I placed the order with Walmart for a curbside pick up for AirPods. On March 9 at 10:11 AM. I received a confirmation text that my pick up was ready. I was unable to make it on March 9 to pick up my AirPods, but I was able to pick them up Sunday night. I arrived at the Walmart on Farrington Road in Lithonia Georgia at 7:22 PM. I checked in and advised that I was in parking spot 4. At 7:28. I received a phone call from a Walmart Associate who wanted to confirm that I was outside and she would bring my order shortly. At 7:29 PM I received an email, confirming that my order had been picked up. At this time I had not received anything. After waiting 45 minutes in my vehicle. I notified an associate that I was only there for one item. He asked me for my name and advised that he would go look for my order. He did not return for about 20 minutes. During his 20 minute absence I was able to get a young lady on the phone who was working in the pick up department. She advised me that she could not find my order because it showed already picked up. The gentleman came back outside and advised me he could not find my order. At this time I grew frustrated because I had been waiting over hour for one item. The associate advised that she would have to get a manager involved but the manager over the pick up department was not there. She advised that she was going to speak with another manager, I was able to speak with the manager Mr. Yusuf, who advised me he was not able to do anything for me until he was able to view the cameras to see what happened to the item. While I greatly understand why he wants to review the cameras for his store processes, I did not understand how I was penalized as a customer. I was unable to cancel this order or get a refund due to the order already being marked as picked up. I am still without my item and waiting for the store manager to give me a call back as they review the cameras. This is very frustrating as I am the paying customer and the only one being penalized. I waited over two hours with my small child in the vehicle, just to leave with nothing.
Today I ordered groceries from #Walmart to be delivered. I received a notification that the order was delivered. When I looked at the picture of the delivery, I realized that the order was delivered to the wrong address. I reported the issue and the agent immediately without asking, refunded my order. The problem was, that was all the money I had until Friday. The order was dinner for two days. Not only was my money tied up, I had nothing else for my family. The last agent Wilbur was really nice. He apologized for not being able to assist me. It's not fair that I spend my money with Walmart and I can't get my monies worth. The prices and quantity are quite appealing, I just can't afford the added cost of a company not being accountable for not one of the errors that occurred. I'm sorry. They did offer my family of 4 a $25 gift card that I declined to accept. Thank you #walmart #justamomtryingtoworkandfeedthefamily. #fail
I do not recommend walmart on Fairington for anything at all. My particular issue was on March 4th 2023. I came to the money center to cash a check and waited in line 30 mins. When i finally get to the front the woman showed me why it took so long. She was very distracted , rude and didn't know what she was doing. She stopped me twice to answer phone calls and ignored me for texts. She gave me the wrong instructions by mistake twice making the process even longer. Also the fruits and vegetables were mostly spoiled this day. Just go to Target.
