My tech came out at the time quoted over the phone for a diagnostic charge of $85. He uncovered that my alternator needed to be replaced. I agreed to a $450 labor charge, and I purchased the part for $230 at O-Reillys. Because I agreed to do the work the $85 diagnostic charge was waived. The tech was knowledgeable and had my car back running within an 1 hr and 30 mins. Overall I was satisfied with the work. I removed a star because it appears I was quoted a higher diagnostic charge and labor fee to replace the alternator.

It took a few days to get the parts I needed for my car to be repaired but I was satisfied with the results. The asking price was reasonable and much less than a dealership would have charged.

I was at the store. I went to turn on my car, it made a funny sound and died. Eventually the internal lights and radio came on. I assumed it was the battery or alternator. I got a jump and drove home. I called two other mobile mechanics, both of them made arrangements to look at my car and never showed up. Finally I called Moutain Mobile Mechanic. I spoke to a gentlemen...who was very professional. He dispatched a mechanic to call me. A mechanic by the name of Van, called me. Within an hour and half, he was looking at my car.
