My experience with Nesmith Construction has been nothing short of a nightmare. I went under contract for a new home in the Sunfield Stations community after viewing another property in the area. But the home I saw and loved was built by a different builder, and unfortunately, Nesmith Construction was responsible for the one I ended up under contract for.My realtor and I did a walkthrough after the drywall and trim work had begun, and it was clear that the quality of workmanship was severely lacking. We started having issues with our home 2-3 weeks after closing. Had problems with electrical breakers tripping often, rain water run off flowing into the garage, tile grout coming out, and water ponding in our back yard against the house. When contacting Nesmith they would blow it off as common Home ownership issues. They did send someone out to change some electrical breakers and to address the grout issue, but would never address the water runoff issues. They passed us off to the sub contractor that did the grading work. It was difficult to get a response on when he would come to look.
