“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Patricia for the incredible support and care she provided during such a difficult time. From the first contact, she showed great empathy and professionalism, ensuring that the entire process was as smooth and respectful as possible. She helped us honor my father's memory in a way that exceeded our expectations. Her kindness, willingness to meet our needs, and the quality of service were exceptional. Thank you, Patricia, for your dedication and sensitivity during these delicate times ?“
“The staff and director (RikiAnne) are exceptional! They provided the most caring, personable and professional approach in guiding us through the entire process. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for funeral services. I consider them now friends of our family. We are so grateful for them.“
“From the moment we started planning my mother’s service until the moment the graveside service concluded, my experience with MWD Funeral Home was wonderful. Our funeral director, Jeremy Harris, was friendly, kind, warm, professional and accommodating. He walked us through the process and kept us informed every step of the way. Immediately after our initial meeting he began the process of making phone calls and planning the service. He was always up front about the costs and fees associated with the service and he did everything he could to fulfill my mother’s wishes. The service itself is exactly what my mother wanted. It took place on a Friday and her burial took place the following Monday. It was Jeremy who drove her to her final resting place in Alabama. It is clear that he is dedicated to his job and to the families that he helps through this process. I will recommend MWD to everyone in my area who needs their services. Funerals can be sad and difficult but in our case, the entire process was pleasant. That’s not a word one usually associates with funerals.“
“My husband passed away in July and was cremated at West Cobb. We had a wonderful experience. The entire staff there is so genuinely kind and helpful. We originally met with Chris Messina, the General Manager. Our family really liked him and appreciated his guidance. The decor of this facility is very lovely as well. Highly recommend!“
“Thanks for your superb top tier service! You buried my fiancee Bernard Thomas! Everything was smooth, detailed and professionally done!“
“HM Patterson-Arlington were very wonderfully compassionate when my son in law died. This was an awful time for our family. The whole staff ,especially Curtis Dixon, treated our family very caring and compassionately. They provided exceptional service and really helped us through our grief and went above and beyond in helping us. We appreciate their loving care more than we can express.“
“The owners are caring and facilitate a respectful and loving home going for your loved ones.“
“Think I've answered this before, I found the cemetery to be peaceful and enormous, a surprise indeed. Its well looked after and has many many markers for its military people who gave there lives in many wars, and military excursions..its worth a visit, I didn't thinknit would be but I was wrong, very wrong.. go take a look it will not harm you, in fact the opposite it might stir and move you ....“
“I can’t recommend this funeral home enough. Kisha, Tabitha, Gloria and Bryan were fantastic. My father (a veteran) recently/unexpectedly died from a service-connected condition. My brother and I live out of state and had to make arrangements fast. I contacted Southcare and talked to Tabitha. What really struck me about Tabitha was how well she listened, and how she did not try to upsell me at all. She patiently explained my options and helped guide me to what worked best given my situation/budget/and geographical location. My case manager, Kisha, was really good at putting out fires. As a grieving son, I (unrealistically) wanted people to pick up the phone immediately. That is not always the case. They are helping many families at once. What Southcare does right however is not shirking responsibility and saying “call back”. If they can’t get a message to someone, they check themselves or do it themselves (Kudos to Gloria and Bryan!). Finally, Southcare treated the ashes of my late father with the utmost respect and dignity. Kisha even went to his military ceremony at the veteran’s cemetery in my absence. Thank you Southcare for making a sad experience into something I can remember was handled with compassion and dignity!“
“My husband and I are so impressed with the Yellow Dahlia Mix Saddle for our son's headstone. They are beautiful and so real looking. Excellent quality, vibrant colors, the shipping and delivery were outstanding. Everything was in tact when we received our order. We will be ordering more seasonal flowers. My husband and I sincerely thank Ms. Ruby and her staff for this natural display of flowers.“
“This funeral home is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Wimby, their daughter, and extended and family members. I met Marcus in high school 50 years ago, and had no idea that he became a mortician until approximately 11 years ago, when I needed to get something notarized. Since I was close to the Fourth Ward Area, I knew that I could find a notary at a funeral home. I chose to go to Haugabrooks Funeral Home, where Iwas warmly greeted by the Wimbys' daughter, who told me that she would get her dad to help me. Much to my surprise, my classmate, Marcus, was who she got. Based on the standards of, high scholastic achievement, combined with a work ethic. that presented us with the necessary tools to succeed in any professional capacity we chose, while we attended high school together, combined with th Wimbys' humble demeanor, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of their services. When my parents married in 1949, they soon established a business relationship with Hines Homes of Funeral, which was originally located at Piedmont Avenue and Pine Streets. Thiis the funeral home our family has used, then and still does, for our immediate needs. We now have an additional company we can use, that is my only child, and I can rely on: That is, Haugabrooks Funeral Home. (I have already written my Yelp review for Hines Homes of Funerals). My son will be instructed again, to follow his "Mom's Request", and utilize both Hines Home of Funerals and Haugabrooks Funeral Home.“
“Sandy Springs Chapel helped guide us through all the aspects of saying goodbye to our mom in a caring way from the beginning when they came to take away her remains to the last shovelful of dirt we put on her grave. They provided everything we needed to personalize our family’s desires and traditions. A special thank you to Jordan Scott, the funeral director.“
“Both Sarah and Al, as well as the entire Team were extremely compassionate and helpful throughout the entire process. Winkenhofer made this a smooth process from beginning to end, allowing our family to both grieve the loss of my parents, as well as celebrate their lives. Thank you all!“
“Everyone, from the first day we entered their offices was so professional and yet at the same time so kind, sweet, and treated us with heartfelt sympathy at the sudden and tragic death of our Mom.
The funeral was over 250 people and Michelle, Ashlyn and Sandra treated us with respect, and such kindness.
I know this sounds crazy, but if you are in the Cobb or Paulding area and are looking for a funeral home or a cemetery I can not recommend Cheatham Hill enough.
They were all so sincere and even the gentlemen at the graveside, were respectful and kind. They served us with dignity and made our last moments with our Mom just what we would have wanted to remember her.“
“They handled the cremation for both of my parents. We had no issues. They were pleasant to work with, efficient, and took care of everything.“
“I would like to personally thank Ms. Banks for her kindness, professionalism and overall her knowledge in handling final arrangements. She showed compassion to my family during the passing of my brother and other friends. I will continue to refer family and friends to Ms. Banks in their time of need.“
“During a really difficult and sad time, Southern Cremations did a great job with the process. They made things easy and were super helpful along the way. A special thanks to Michelle and Ashton for going back and forth via email to make sure I had all of my questions answered. Ashton was amazing the day of the service. I felt that she truly cared and wanted everything to go smoothly. Thank you ??“
“Working with Carmichael's Funeral Home was a very positive experience. Jim Carmichael is a kind, sensitive funeral director who explained things to me and helped me choose just the right things to honor my wife. Just as important, Carmichael's Aftercare program is a very thorough approach to informing the bereaved of things that were necessary to be completed but which I had not even thought about. Kirstin of Aftercare was a true gem--she knew what to ask, but also how to ask it, as she guided me through a number of crucial items. Thank you, Jim Carmichael and Kirstin!“
