Skippers of Savannah

I was the best man in a destination wedding taking place in Savannah. Upon learning that the wedding party wished to have a "flower man" at their ceremony, I had to find a fanny pack and rose petals a mere two hours before the wedding. This all in a town I have never visited and had no knowledge of where any stores or florists were located. No pressure at all! A quick search found Skippers as a potential location to locate the rose petals. Upon calling it was explained that they were making floral arrangements and had already disposed of their rose petals. This was certainly devastating news! Explaining the situation, they said they would call right back. They did five minutes later saying to come pick them up. Rushing to the quaint store, two wonderful ladies greeted us with a gallon sized bag of rose petals. They certainly saved the day and granted the Bride and Groom their wishes. It was southern hospitality at its finest! Treat yourself to an amazing little store full of heirloom quality gifts of many kinds. Plus, the floral arrangements I viewed were absolutely stunning! You cannot go wrong!
