Alex, It has been a pleasure working with you and your craftsmen. Our failing brick wall at our historic church in downtown Beaufort was in bad need of repair and support. Alex Skellon, owner of Scottish Stonecraft, is a consummate professional--of which his superlative masonry work provides testimony. We have used him/his company to repair large exterior jobs on our historic home, as well as smaller maintenance masonry/brick jobs. However, no matter what size job we might have, it is always taken care of for us in an expert and timely manner. In addition, Alex is a Scottish gent with whom working is always a pleasure; and his crew is equally as delightful and always make a point to go above-and-beyond. This company really knows how to work on historic brickwork properly. The crew was personable and very skilled. It was obvious that they had years of experience in their craft. I appreciated the close attention they paid to doing my masonry repairs safely, since the job required ladders, scaffolding, and a man lift. Their repointing work looks very good, and they even cleaned up the work site quite well when they finished.
