My 14 year old dachshund, Riley had his back go out about two months ago. I chose to go to Live Oak Veterinary Clinic because they had an MRI machine. They were a 90 minute drive from home. When I got there they were waiting for him. Within 6 hours of this happening he was in surgery. Dr Santare was his surgeon. This happened on a Thursday. Riley stayed in the ICU through the weekend. Dr Santare called me every day with updates and how he was doing. I brought him home on Monday with good instructions on how to care for him. I was referred to see the Neurologist, Dr Carrie Santare was great; she was kind, gentle, and professional. I had received the DNA results that my Vet suggested I order, and I asked the staff if they thought Dr Carrie Santare would interpret the results so I could understand. It was a Friday, and she called to explain what it all meant! Thank you!
