The Georgia Eye Institute on Jackson Blvd and Pooler location provide professional and precise eye care services. The staff, from the front desk to the clinic, are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about their duties. The facilities are nicely decorated, with multiple waiting rooms and a peaceful environment. While there may be some minor issues with organization and communication between departments, the overall experience is positive. The eye doctors, including Dr. Overstreet, Dr. Piros, Dr. Reeves, and Dr. Matthew Deich, are thorough and pleasant to deal with.
I’ve been here twice and both experiences were great with Dr. Overstreet. Service is quick and the staff is extremely friendly. One staff member in particular was extremely kind and empathetic; her name was Jordan. I’ve never written a review before but her service was so amazing that I felt that it was necessary. We often make reviews for complaints but I wanted to praise this office and the staff. I will be returning and recommending this office to others.
I recently had upper eyelid surgery for medical reasons with Dr Kandal. He and his surgical staff were wonderful! They were kind and pleasant and extremely skilled. Though one of my eyelids is still healing, in less than a month the other wye surgical scar is almost imperceptible. The second eye was a more complicated one and is also healing very very well...it's just a a few weeks behind on the scar results. I have no doubt it will be perfect and completely unnoticeable in another month. I would say the experience has been beyond what I could have anticipated and I highly recommend this surgeon, his fabulous anesthesiologist, his professional nurses and the entire medical team!
I've been a long time patient of Georgia Eye Institute/Dr. Piros. I have had scheduling, rescheduling and wrong scheduling issues with this office recently. Unfortunately, the staff was less than accommodating, arrogant, rude, take it or leave it attitude. Time to take it to another eye care practice.
