“I have been going to Paces Ferry Veterinarian Clinic for over a decade. I become friends with some of the staff over the years and I feel very comfortable trusting the health of my pets to the doctors. We’ve had three dogs over the years and they’ve always taken wonderful care of them.“
“Dr. Heard and his staff have exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with them as my puppy's vet! During the exam Dr. Heard is very informative and so friendly with my puppy Milky, you can really tell that it is very important for him and his staff that Milky is comfortable and happy and not afraid of her vet visit. He also makes you feel secure that your pet is in good hands. What really stood out to me is that Dr. Heard really wants you as the pet owner to understand exactly what he is doing and involves you in your pets examination by explaining every single thing he does and by letting you help calm your pet during uncomfortable moments for the puppy like vaccinations. I have never seen a vet with such great bedside manner and I am so happy my puppy feels comfortable at the vet. Everyone is so kind and helpful and you can tell they all really love what they do. I would recommend Dr. Heard to anyone!“
“We switched to Briarlake Animal Hospital in Nov of 2023. We have 11 year old cats (sisters). The yearly check up was so calm and lovely. The staff was kind and helpful, the vet and tech were SUPER informative and explained everything. Turns out both needed teeth cleaning so we took them in yesterday for that. They stayed in touch with us ALL DAY, the vet called me TWICE, once after cleaning each cat's teeth, to let me know how they're doing and what the results were. And when we went to pick the up, the staff were all super supportive, helpful with at home care info, and came to tell us how much the loved having our babies there. And Dr. Hiro came out (he did the procedures) to check in. 100% love this practice and will say and recommend.“

“This was the best vet experience! I was really nervous about bringing my cat “tubs” to a new vet because I previously had a horrible experience at a vet clinic that I worked at. The facility was clean and I only waited in the waiting room for about 2 minutes. Both the nurse and doctor were super informative and I could tell they genuinely care about my pet. They did all the shots in the room and my cat barely even flinched. I loved how they handled her with so much care and used fear free technique when handling. I also appreciated how they went over diet options since I am concerned about my cats weight.Overall, the staff treated Tubs and I like a VIP customer/patient. I recommend them to anyone that wants their pet to receive the best experience.“

I will not take my "family" anyplace else. She knows so many people in the industry so, if needed, she can help when an expert is needed. Dr. Wood has gone out of her way so many times to care for our babies. I wouldn't go anywhere else!“

“This is the best vet clinic I have taken my cats to!1. The waiting room is spacious despite the seemingly small building, allowing me to have my cats on the other side of the room from their doggy clientele, which I am sure everyone appreciates!2. The front office staff is very helpful and kind.3. The vets and vet techs are extremely good at their jobs and most importantly walk through everything they are doing to your cats and do 99% of the exam with you in the room, which I appreciate a lot as a cat mom who worries.4. They seem to truly love animals and seem excited and passionate about their jobs.5. They listen to my worries as a 1st time kitten caretaker and reassure me from their expertise.6. 99% of the time i am out of their fairly quickly as well, but when I am not the vets always take the time to explain and apologize for any delay in my service which cannot be said of most offices!The only con is that they are a little pricey (Kitten every 3 week visit is 150$ but it does include a lot like nail trims, vaccines, fecal analysis etc.), however, I think you get what you pay for in this case because it is well worth it to know my cats are taken care of properly. I would have to move very far away before I ever stopped coming here!“

“The vet and staff were great and very nice and accommodating. Though the wait times could be a little long at times, they did their best to get patients in and out in a timely manner. My cats had an upper respiratory infection and after giving them medication prescribed by the vet, they got better in just a few days. They were also affordable. I would highly recommend.“

“Old school vet. Cleaned my dog's teeth for a fraction of what my regular vet would have charged. Dr. Dangar did an excellent job. Called me as soon as he finished the procedure to let me know my dog did great. I will go to him next Year. Was referred to him by my neighbors.“
“I just want to say how thankful me & my family are for Dogwood & the exceptional service they provide from the front desk staff to the internal medicine doctor, Dr. Nasr, who has been the absolute best for our Yorkie Cracker. We took Cracker to numerous vets for their opinion on what’s going with Cracker. None of them had an accurate diagnosis & all the vets seemed to do was assume our dog had stomach cancer and advised we put him down. After doing hours of research of my dog’s symptoms, I found out it was common for yorkies to develop a type of GI decease along with other diseases such a PLE. When Dr. Nasr suspected Cracker may have this disease, I knew right there & then that she knew what she was doing. She also has compassion for animals which is VERY rare to find in the vet industry these days. We had to leave Cracker for overnight bc his protein levels were extremely low, & my mom was extremely emotional & scared to leave our dog overnight as we had a recent dog of ours pass away. Dr. Nasr came back in the room & sat next to my mom to assure her that Cracker will be ok. She also explained everything to us in detail from what her plan is to get cracker better. She didn’t rush through the appointment & she actually listened to any questions/concerns we had. I am so thankful God led our family to such a compassionate vet. The front desk staff is awesome & as soon we walk in, they have our room ready for us and always greet our dog Cracker. And yes, Cracker is doing well to this day as those other vets we went to tried to tell us to put him down right away. No compassion, eager to get us out the door & take our hard earned money. And whoever said to take your dog to Bluepearl in Sandy Springs, DO NOT. That is the same dog hospital who took away our last dog and misdiagnosed him! Please look into bringing your fur family to Dogwood!!! Thank you Dogwood for everything you’ve done for our Precious Cracker. God bless you guys!!!!“
