Beware... Dr. Gardner is the MD you DONT want. Lack of attention and detail is far from professional. Actually sent my information incorrectly and violated a HIPPA law. Just as I would expect, no apologies or decent concept to accept fault. Had April to call (do his dirty work) and made it seem it was NOT a big deal. April you should be more cautious since you could easily be held accountable by repeating that sending a patients information to another establishment without patients consent is not a violation. Since this practice has been taken over by HCA, it has gone from average to bad. My husband and I both see providers here and our prescriptions are never refilled on time even when you contact up to a week prior to running out. Insurance won't allow refill until a week prior to running out so you are pretty much guaranteed to run out with this practice. Lord help you if those meds include blood pressure meds, heart meds, insulin, asthma meds, or thyroid medications. They tell you to contact the pharmacy to request refills but they even ignore the pharmacy requests. Dr Johnson is awesome and so is the rest of the medical staff. The reason I give this practice 2 stars is because of the receptionist. The couple times I've ever needed to see Dr Johnson urgently the receptionist informs me she's booked and can't see me and the same situation for the rest of the staff in the practice. Not only are they booked but the receptionist is rude and could care less about helping you in any way . They always refer me out to the urgent Care, costing me 3 times as much money .
