“Ricky pierced my belly a year ago and it healed perfectly. He was patient with me (bc I’m a little scared of needles even though I️ wanted it to badly) and was very informative when I️ asked about the healing process. I’d been researching it for years but he was the only one who told me to spray the piercing, not use a q-tip. I️ did just that and soaked it twice a day for months until it was healing properly then I️ began cleaning it every day (with just soap, and letting water run down it like he said) and soaking periodically. There’s much controversy around how to heal it. For me, PERSONALLY, I️ made sure I got it when I️ knew I️ would no longer have to be outside often and could still wear crop tops without catching a cold so it could heal exposed. The key for me was soaking it in saline solution and touching it as little as possible (including clothing). I️ still haven’t changed it because it’s officially a year in August and I️ wanted to be safe. I’m grateful I️ went here and will come back when I️ want another piercing! <3“
