“I just had the best facial with Tamara. I haven't had a facial in years before today. My last experience scarred me because I felt like I was being waterboarded. Lol. I'm glad I decided to give it a try again at Charged Up. The space was clean and comfortable too. I have a glow again, right in time for my 40th birthday celebration. Tamara was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and gentle. The face and neck massage after the facial were so relaxing, I almost fell asleep. She tailored the service for my skin type and gave me some helpful advice to care for my skin. Tamara also sells all natural skin products that she makes herself. “I'd been looking for a nail salon for a while and came across the reviews for Amapola. Almost all of the reviews said good things about the service and the staff, so with such high ratings, I decided to take a chance. I'm really glad I did! When I walked in, the shop was well-lit, clean, and welcoming. The ladies welcomed me immediately and asked what service I wanted. In less than five minutes, I was seated at a table and the young lady, Daylynne, was asking me questions about my nails and prepping for my service (cut down and fill-in). There was so much I appreciated about the entire experience - music was playing, but it wasn't so loud as to be intrusive; if I cared to watch TV instead, it was playing with closed captions; and there was obvious camaraderie among the technicians. I don't say much at appointments as I usually prefer to enjoy the experience in silence, but I found myself chatting comfortably with Daylynne and she was very sweet and funny. I enjoyed the relaxation of my time there and my nails turned out beautifully. I will definitely be going back, and I think Daylynne may be stuck with me (lol).“
