Stay away from them!!! No wonder they have such horrible reviews here, on google and everywhere else. I just found out that some or all of their animals have been seized and apparently their were 50 plus dogs, chickens and horses that were not being kept properly. I pray for the animals and hope they find a good home. I'm sure the volunteers must have been doing a good job and this review is not indicative of how they did their jobs but as has been my experience in the one time I applied for adoption, they either don't respond at all or tend to get extremely nasty in their response and god forbid if you leave them a negative review or try to reason with them. With numerous reviews where they criticize applicants for not meeting requirements, it seems strange that they were the ones hoarding and not taking care of animals. A friend from the neighborhood said that 1-2 days back cops and the Fulton County Animal Services showed up and stayed for hours. I believe Channel 2 has been covering the incident so should be on the news soon. My only hope is that the animals are okay and that this does not tarnish dog adoption in general because their are good adoption agencies out there that are doing a lot of good.

I recently adopted the sweetest boy from Georgia Poodle Rescue after reading his heartbreaking story. Georgia Poodle Rescue is run by a true animal lover and advocate. It was obvious during every step of the process that the owner puts the needs of her rescue animals first. She works tirelessly to care for them, train them, LOVE them, and find the right home for them. The extremely thorough vetting process shows how serious they are about making sure their dogs are properly placed. The application was extremely detailed and the meet and greet gives everyone the opportunity to ensure it’s a good fit. Thankfully, we all agreed that this sweet boy was meant to be part of our family for the rest of his precious life. Thank you to Debbie Blatchley and Georgia Poodle Rescue for rescuing him and bringing him into our life!

People bring their dogs to Georgia Poodle Rescue because they want the rescue to find homes who meet the policies. This rescue goes above and beyond other rescues and will not be bullied by people thinking they can bypass the policies. Any bad reviews is most likely from people who don't meet the policies and they retaliate. Now think about it.....do you really want those retaliating people around any dogs? Georgia Poodle Rescue does good work and receives many repeat adopters. These are live animals who deserve people who realize why they need to meet the policies. They deserve good people with good lives. Just go on the Facebook page and you will see all the wonderful reviews and comments.
