    Dr. Van Laar shouldn't be working. He's (respectfully) too old and basically just there to write prescriptions. He doesn't seem to care about the actual health of the patients, leaves early most days and doesn't try to understand the issues presented or come up with solutions like a doctor is paid to do. He just asks what the patient thinks they need and writes something up. I had to actually self diagnose and figure it out for myself. The rest of the staff is great and so sweet, so it's a shame they have to work for a man who just doesn't seem to care about his patients.     I went for just a basic check up and blood work since I just moved from a different state. The doctor Amanda was so bias and short with me. Didn’t want to listen to the things I had to say or answer my questions. I felt so uncomfortable and judged. I was seeking help and was completely discouraged in my experience going there. My race shouldn’t determine how well a medical professional treats me.

    They've been my Primary Physician since we moved to Henry County in 2002. Always liked that they took walk-ins most days, but if you call first, you could get same-day appointments. Since NP Jodi left I've not been as happy with them. The new NP made me feel rushed, like she was trying to squeeze out the door the whole time I was talking to her, and every word I was saying, in order to give as detailed of a issue as possible for her to make an accurate diagnosis was just keeping her from a more important task.
