I saw Dr. Grimm on 2/14/2024 for severe back pain following a visit to the ER at Northside Cherokee hospital on 2/11/24. After talking to my PCP on 2/12,they referred me to Dr. Grimm. He spent less than 20 minutes talking to me,and after almost no examination gave me a prescription for a pain med and muscle relaxer and said I needed a CTscan. The place he referred me to couldnt see me until March 12th so I asked for a different location with a sooner appointment time. I was then scheduled for a location closer to my home on 2/26. I got a call from that facility yesterday(2/22) stating that the scan would have to be rescheduled because my provider(Dr. Grimm) only sent in the paperwork to my insurance on 2/20 so there wasnt enough time for it to be reviewed and the pre-cert done. So it took from 2/14 until 2/20 for Resurgeons to get the paperwork to my Insurance because the correct info was never sent in. I am now on my 4th change of pain medication and still have not found out what is causing the pain. Dr. Grimm was less than caring and while talking gave a slight shoulder shrug and eye roll and gave the suggestion of possible muscle spasms. I am no Doctor but I do not believe that muscle spasms would cause CONSTANT unrelenting pain that could not be relieved by prescription pain meds. I am STILL in pain and STILL have not had a CT scan to find out what is wrong. I will not go back to Dr. Grimm.
Dr. Dennis was so great! And the staff at the surgery center were very professional. I had an epidural injection at L5. I had been in pain with sciatica for 6 weeks, and I felt some relief instantly. I know it can take a few days to a couple of weeks for full effect, but I feel so much better on day one. If you've ever had this pain you know. I had my first full night of sleep in 6 weeks last night!
Dr. Stephen Kim told me I needed a knee replacement surgery. I told him I wanted to try gel injections first. He said (FINALLY) that he would ask the insurance company to approve and get back to me. He NEVER did that and NEVER even contacted me!!! I went somewhere else for the gell injections. Are they named Re-surgeons for a reason??? I think so!!!!!! Really non professional!!!!
