3 stars on Yelp means Ok or A-Ok (dependent on the browser & device). I came here specifically because I was in search of an African-American dermatologist. I'm not racist or militant: 1) I have a scalp condition that I've been dealing with for more than 15 years - & the non-African American derms I've treated with tend to prescribe stuff that dictates applying topicals & shampoos daily which is absolutely not practical for my hair. Excellent choice for People of color that have darker skin like myself. I am African American woman in my 20s, and I came to Dr.Kimbrough-Green with hormonal acne, mild facial hair, and a tremendous amount of scarring. She and her staff have me on a regimen that has not only cleared my skin, decreased the amount of hair on my face, and made my scars less visible; but they have increased my confidence.Thank you so much!
