Sharon is impressively competent, the consummate professional. I speak from over 20 years of caring for 4 loved ones at home in three states: my husband with diabetes, one with AML to whom I also donated bone marrow for transplant, one quite old with Parkinson’s and one over 100 years with Alzheimer’s & Lewey Body. Between the hospitalizations (some in ICU’s) and home health and home hospice (for age not impending death) I have dealt with MANY nurses — some extraordinary— in many contexts and Sharon is among the very best — extraordinary!!“

After assessing our needs and personalities, he scheduled a time to introduce his caregiver to us. She has been totally attentive from day one. A "part-of-the-family" is no exaggeration. She stays active all day (no sitting and staring at the phone!) They have a daily routine that covers all of his grooming needs, mental and physical exercising, singing, walks outside, weather permitting, and fixing meals. I strongly recommend Azalea Home Health. “I have worked in home health care for a long time (always for a competitor) so I know a fair bit about how it should go. But recently I experienced home health from the other side when my mom needed care. Everything went really smoothly especially considering that we have a massive nursing shortage in the US right now. Most people don’t realize that when there is a service failure, it is usually because even when everything is done right, there just aren’t enough nurses to meet the need. But in this case our care was started a day after it was ordered and our nurse case manager Mahmud was just wonderful. He was knowledgeable and patient and thorough. All of the nurses and therapists were great My mom has Parkinson’s and is very high risk for falls. Her PT was so well done that we started to notice improvements after about 4 visits.The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that the speech therapist didn’t listen well enough to really understand mom’s needs. Other than that it was a great experience.“
