We have used this vet since 1996 and spent thousands of dollars here over those years as we usually have a couple of dogs and several cats. This office cared for several generations of our dogs and cats. We always felt like the doctors really cared for our pets, were available and explained options even when the outcomes weren't positive. However, in the last year or so, the practice has really declined. We acknowledge that vet care can be expensive and we've been willing to pay for good care. But the random fees, tons of special tests, etc., are unacceptable. When we call for questions, we don't get answers. We never see the same vet and the care just isn't the same. We're sadly going to have to find a new vet office.
I took my dog for grooming, 8 years old full of life, healthy and I picked him up from this place dead! And they charged me $938… Do not take your pet to this place…this happened 2/9/2022. I want to warm everyone!!!
Do NOT take your fur baby to this establishment, they only care about money. My dog has been going here for YEARS. Back in August I noticed an odd flat pink patch on my dogs tummy. I thought it was strange and I never saw it before. I took her to the vet and they didn't even try to look at it, they brushed it off and said it was likely due to her skin allergies. The vet literally said she just had bad skin allergies and it will just get worse as she gets older. Just gave me a bunch of crap medicine . At the time I believed her because like I said, my dog has been going here for YEARS. Well two days ago, to my surprise, I noticed that same patch I pointed out 3 months ago was now 10X BIGGER AND RED. Immediately I made an appointment ELSEWHERE for a SECOND opinion. Luckily I was able to get an appointment the next day, and this vet actually took time to look at the spot and tested the spot by taking a needle sample. And guess what y'all? It's not "skin allergies," it's FREAKING CANCER! She has been diagnosed with a mast cell tumor and had surgery scheduled later this month to remove the tumor and see how bad the tumor is. I am beyond angry. My worst fear is that the tumor has been caught late, and could have been more treatable when I first brought this up. This office is completely negligent and does not care about pets, just money. DISGUSTING
