We used Pinkston Realty to manage our rental property, USED being the key word. If you are wanting to just hand over 10% of your rental income, then I recommend this company. He is very quick to make promises during the signing process, but fails to deliver on said promises after you are locked into the rental contract. Mr. Pinkston will send you the rent check at HIS convenience only. May the Lord help you, if you question him on the rent's whereabouts. I was told after one conversation that the tenants had a son in boot camp, so that's why rent was not paid. He made me feel like an unpatriotic jerk for even questioning him! It's easy to sympathize when it's not your mortgage that needs to be paid! After much frustration over a few years time, we terminated our contract with him. Only then did we find out that he had approved our tenants having dogs in our "no inside dogs" rental, without even having them pay a pet deposit! Our floors are ruined, and there is nothing that we can do about it, but refinish after the tenants move out. Also, he approved our refrigerator being moved outside to accommodate the tenants' refrigerator. Now, ours has rust from being exposed to the elements. If I can keep one landlord from going through the same situation, then this post was worth the effort. I would give less than one star if that was an option.
