“I was nervous to go here since I have never been to a barber shop or a black-owned hair place. Now I know I shouldn't be wary. Salons never cut my hair right, and I wasn't sure if Van was familiar with white hair. However, he did my hair fantastically, and I never felt uncomfortable the entire time, even as a trans person. He kept checking with me the whole time about length, what to do with my bangs, and everything in-between. I have never felt so accommodated. Thanks Van, this is my new regular place, and I highly recommend it.“
