“This company is fantastic. we got all new windows, siding, gables, and they rebuilt the outside of the fireplace. I was amazed at how quickly this was done. They had an excellent five-man crew.They finished in five days, and the quality of work was amazing. For instance, they installed flashing at the base of the rebuilt fireplace between the back deck, detailed workmanship. It looks like the drip edges over the windows are bullnosed. They are James Hardie certified, so there is flashing behind each joint in the siding. I guess I’m trying to say that the job was not just done, but it was done completely, while paying attention to details.<br>This kind of work can be stressful for the homeowner, so I appreciate the fact that I was able to communicate with three different knowledgable people, phone call or text, with any questions that I had. “In just four business days, one (2 person) team painted our library, the ceiling in our kitchen/breakfast room and the entire exterior of our home. During the same time, another 2 person team removed all kitchen cabinet doors and drawers and totally refinished my kitchen base cabinets, doors, and drawers. “I am writing this rave review for ThermaGuard in Woodstock. I had a roof replaced with another vendor. The job was well done, the follow up was very nice for a while but I discovered a problem with a drip edge on a porch wall that I was advised to replace. My roof installer gave me a wierd high figure to repair/replace the drip edge and some other work. I was confused and needed a better understanding of the problem. Wasn't getting an explanation from my roofer. Turns out I had used ThermaGuard Woodstock 7-8 years ago for some minor roof repair. I called ThermaGuard, explained the situation, and received thoughtful and well designed advice. They explained the issue to me so that I could understand what was involved with a potential repair. Surprised to hear, I was told that they would honer the quote they had given me back in January.A week before they were going to deliver the siding materials, they had let me know that their siding supplier was about to raise prices and ask if they could deliver the materials a little sooner to avoid the price hike. So, I was able to avoid some additional costs!When they started the project, the crew was at my house at 7:30 am and worked to 6-7 PM if the weather permitted. It only took them a four days to install the siding for a two story house (with on and off rain)! Amazing! And, they had always asked me for permission to do something if they weren't 100% sure if that is what I wanted. “I am extremely pleased with Monster Exteriors and its owner, Kody B. I live in a very small (630 square feet) condominium. I was pretty sure that given the distance, traffic, and his robust schedule, he would decline such a small job as mine which was to repair my front door which was not fitting, closing, or locking properly. Kody booked my appointment right away, clearly concerned, and arrived exactly on time. Not only did he fix the door (turned out that the hinges just needed adjusting), but also explained that purchasing a new door would have been extremely expensive and probably impossible to find given the outdated dimensions and high-quality solidness of the existing door. He replaced the weather stripping and installed a new sweep onto the bottom of the door to keep a secure seal. I can already tell that my thermostat is working far less than it used to due to the improvements Kody made. He estimated that I will probably see a $10.00 per month on my utility bills. While Kody was here, I asked him if he would be interested in my hiring him to replace two bifold latticed hall closet doors which no longer fit after I replaced my carpet with vertically higher hardwood floors. I hired three contractors, each of which inspected and declined the job saying that it was an impossible task due to the standard, builder-grade closet door length not fitting. All three suggested that I should hang a curtain in lieu of a door. Kody looked over the frame and floor height and did several measurements to figure out how the problem could be solved. He said that there were doors that he could customize to fit the space. Kody picked them up, sanded them to fit, applied them with 4 coats of paint that perfectly match the existing paint in my home, and carefully installed them. They glide beautifully and look so much better than the building-grade lattice doors I had before, each of which never closed properly. The new doors are solid, sliding doors. The design of the doors perfectly match my kitchen cabinetry doors. For the door installers, it was all about the doors not fitting. For Kody, it was thinking about making the doors fit. P.S. ~ Kody is very tall. Just as he was leaving, I randomly told him that I had a bug that fell from the attic into my bathroom fan light that was impossible for me (5'2") to reach under any circumstance, even with a step stool. Every morning it was the first thing I saw when getting ready for work (ugh). I asked Kody as he was leaving if he could remove it. He reached up, removed the plastic cover, flushed the bug, and replaced the cover. Fewer than 30 seconds. He looked at me, smiled and said "Done!". That's Kody.“
