Geek Squad offers repair, installation, and setup services for various types of technology at over 1,100 Best Buy stores. They can help with computer and tablet repair, TV and home theater repair, cell phone repair, and home appliance repair, among others. A customer recently visited Geek Squad when they were unable to access their laptop after a mandatory update. A staff member assisted them in finding and entering the recovery password, and explained how to locate it in the future. Another customer brought in their 92-year-old mother's device after she spent all day trying to connect to the internet. The issue was resolved in just 5 minutes, and the customer was impressed with the professional and efficient service. The staff at Geek Squad, including Mr. Omar and Mr. Christian, are commended for their expertise in resolving issues related to file uploads on new computers.
I was hacked on the Internet and had to have a program removed from my PC ASAP. I also needed a Malware remover, installed on my PC.
I asked for the manager and a gentleman by the name of Will came out . I explained my situation and he jumped on the PC immediately loaded the malware remover also deleted a program… and got me back on the road within 10 minutes.
He was extremely professional moved very quickly…. and was very sympathetic to my situation. Hats off to Will because he’s a true professional. I will be back with some additional work on several other PC’s
I went today because I didn't know my recovery password on my victus laptop after a mandatory update, without that I had 0 access to my laptop, a guy here helped me look for it and enter it calmly, it was cool, and he explained to me how to look for it if it happened again
I spent an hour and half after my 92 year old mother spent “all day” trying to connect to the internet. In 5 minutes they had it fixed at no charge! Totally above and beyond and will highly recommend them. Great job and thank you.
