Called Butler Creek Animal Hospital because my 13 year old Labradoodle had a lump appear suddenly. Maverick has approximately 30 lumps on him that are just fluid filled, but not tumors. The latest grew exponentially over the week, and I put in a request for an appointment. I included a photo of the lump. They got me in immediately. They did bloodwork and ran some labs. The vet explained what she thought it could be based on her experience. It was not good. Labs were sent to UGA and won’t be back for 7-10 days, so I am still anxious, but I’m hoping for the best news; that it is not cancer in the blood vessels. Dr.Shell is Molli’s doc. She went in for a minor problem and during exam an abdominal mass was found on the spleen. He did bloodwork and needle biopsy during that visit. Grateful he acted quickly and was able to diagnose the mass in 2 days which turned out to be a rare growth, not a tumor of any kind and nothing more required. He was very caring and when he called me back with the results was able to put my mind at ease with the good news. Supporting staff is helpful and pleasant. Have been very pleased with the services provided over the last 7 years.

Dr. McClintock always takes her time during our appointments to respond to all questions. She is understanding and kind while she engages with me and our dog by sitting on the floor next to her stroking her. She is a professional in her field. Additionally, Dr. McClintock sends a follow-up summary that she writes which is personal to our dogs health. Her assistant is very caring and friendly too. The day after our appointment we receive a follow call.I definitely recommend Dr. McClintock and the staff at Butler Creek Animal Hospital. There are four veterinarians.
