About Scoliosis Specialists
Scoliosis Specialists is a dedicated facility focused on providing effective, nonsurgical treatments for scoliosis and kyphosis. With decades of experience, the team aims to offer alternatives to invasive surgeries, utilizing FDA-approved treatment solutions that cater to both children and adults. The modern facility is equipped with advanced tools for brace adjustments and routine follow-ups, ensuring that each patient’s progress is closely monitored. Reviews from patients highlight the exceptional care provided by the staff, who are described as knowledgeable and attentive. One patient shared their experience with a brace, noting that while the treatment is effective in stabilizing the spine, the costs associated with it can be significant. The initial expense for the brace and first appointment is around $5,500, and follow-up visits can range from $300 to $400 each. Patients are encouraged to budget accordingly and be prepared for the insurance process, as the facility does not file claims on their behalf. Despite the financial commitment, many patients report positive outcomes. One reviewer mentioned their spouse's transformative experience after just three days with the brace, highlighting significant pain relief and improved mobility. They emphasized the importance of consulting with the staff, who take the time to understand individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Another patient praised Dr. Brian for his professionalism and the beautiful office environment. While some patients have noted discomfort and challenges related to brace maintenance, such as washing and drying times, they acknowledge the brace's role in improving their condition. Many express a sense of hope and relief, finding that the treatment positively impacts their daily lives and activities. Overall, Scoliosis Specialists is recognized for their commitment to patient care and effective treatment options, making them a trusted choice for those seeking alternative solutions for scoliosis and kyphosis.
My curve has dropped 12 degrees since I started wearing a brace a year ago, which takes me out of surgery range (and I’m 58 years old). I’m almost down to the curve of my childhood (35 degrees). They have helped me tremendously and have far exceeded my expectations.

He started at about a 37 degree curve and within just 2 months of being in the boston brace, he lost core muscle strength (which is a big deal for a kiddo with low tone), was no longer filling his left lung fully, his original curve progressed to around 50 degrees (can't remember exact), and had developed a new curve at the top of his spine. As very concerned parents, we researched and found spinecor! We promptly got our child in and fitted for a new brace. Today, about 2.5 weeks later, he got a new xray at the local childrens hospital and his top curve is gone, he...read full review
My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis and 34 degree curve. My daughter found Dr. Ouellette after googling soft braces. The SpinCor brace was more comfortable for her than the traditional brace. We travel from Arkansas to Texas for her appointments and in 7 months my daughter’s back is straight. She will continue to be monitored to make sure she stays stable. I am so thankful to Dr. Ouellette and Dr. Cattarulla. They are absolutely amazing!!! I recommend them 100 percent!!!!!
