When I first visited Dr. Kim, I was lost and uncertain of where to turn. At 54, I had been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (Hashimoto's and autoimmune hypothyroidism), and my health was deteriorating rapidly despite seeking help from various western doctors. By the time I arrived at Dr. Kim's office, I was too weak to climb stairs and had severe red, burning inflammation around my eyes and face. My joints ached, and I was suffering from frequent and intense hot flashes and night sweats due to menopause. I felt completely hopeless. However, during my first session with Dr. Kim, I noticed a reduction in swelling and pain, which gave me immediate hope. That very night, my menopause symptoms decreased in both frequency and intensity. The treatment has been crucial to my healing journey. I’ve had back issues for many years because of weight. I was seeing a chiropractor which helped get my hips aligned, but I was still having severe back pain in the lower back and the midsection when I walked I was having sciatic nerve damage going down both sides of the legs And thought it was time to see somebody to help alleviate those pains and that is when I met Dr. Kim at the green acupuncture office and going there for not even a year and my pain has subside a great deal and I’m feeling better. I’m walking taller and I highly recommend Dr. Kim as an acupuncture doctor .
