Prior to signing the listing agreement, Sherry Wheeler told us about her professionalism and contacts in the community. She mentioned that she knows three potential buyers and would invite over 200 realtors to the open house. None of her potential buyers were interested in the house and about 7 people came to the open house. When we asked her for contacts to help with resolving contingency items, some of the contacts would not return our call. The few that did were priced somewhere between 2 times to 9 times the actual cost of work performed. Sherry told us that she sells real estate full time. In the four months we worked with her, she was on vacation or out of town 4 times. Once when we first contacted her; second time when our house went on the market, third time when we got our offer, and the fourth time when she was not available for the closing. Sherry was out of town when our listing went on the MLS. We were not informed as to when the listing went active, a neighbor told us that the listing was up. The listing did not contain photos. What a mess. It took three different photographers to get the photos done for the house. Everyone agreed that the first photos were poor quality, the second photographer was not a professional residential real estate photographer and was in our home until around 10 pm one evening when we were not there. The second photographer failed to produce timely photos, so a third was hired. This photographer was excellent. Sherry asked us to write the description of the house for the listing. We thought that since that this is her profession that she would know how to word the listing to increase the chances of a successful sale. She wrote the listing, but we had to rewrite large portions due to features not mentioned. After the home was listed, her main strategy was to lower the price from what she recommended. We worked with Sherry because we thought she would sell the unique features of the house. It became apparent to us that she was more interested in a quick sale. We received 3 offers. There was no discussion on strategy, she merely forwarded the offers to us. As we worked through the offer we finally accepted, Sherry forwarded us the email stating that all contingencies were satisfied and that we are moving forward with the sale. When we called her to confirm, she said that she was not sure and had to look at the email. It appeared to us that she never looked at the email before it was sent. My wife and I have sold a few homes, this was by far the most challenging and disappointing experience.

Best real estate agent in the land. Listed our house one day and 3 days later, under contract. She kept me informed very well throughout the process, and for my situation, that couldn't have been easy. Thank you Sherry for your hard work through what was a difficult time for my family. God Bless
