“I had the best experience with Jaibella. I was looking for a salon that would be able to silk press my natural hair. I was not disappointed. Not only did I get my silk press and much needed trim, I was educated about my hair and scalp as well. Jas was able to recommend some things for me to better my post-partum hair and scalp and get them back healthy. As in buy from the store, not trying to upsell a service. This one appointment me has made me a returning customer. Also, 2 days later my silk press is still beautiful and full of body (Jas recommend how to prep my hair for bed). Jas is very personable and easy to talk to. We were laughing and chatting like we already knew each other. It was a pleasure being serviced by such gifted and skilled hands. Also my appointment was one on one. I was not juggled between multiple people or waiting while the stylist finished another person. I'll be starting my hair journey with her.“

“I pulled up with my nieces a couple hours before taking them to dinner. I didn’t even notice it was a few minutes after closing. I explained that my niece was self conscious about her natural hair and didn’t want to go out. The stylists were SO SWEET, warm and welcoming. They immediately asked me to bring my niece into the shop and agreed to put two lovely rapunzel braids in her hair for a more than reasonable price considering the fact that they were already closed! “I had a very bad experience with Gelisa! I booked for Jonesboro and when I got there she had her 15 yr old daughter doing my hair!! My hair did not look like the picture she sent me the size. I did not like my hair , not to mention it was at her home and not in a good environment. I asked her how could we fix my hair and said she was out of town and would let me know when she got back so we could fix it. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard anything from her. She took my money, and I wasn’t satisfied with my hair and didn’t fix it. Do not give her your money before getting your hair done“

“This was my first visit since the revamp/ remodel of Shea Locs. I had a Great experience! Felt welcomed. The staff was nice and professional. The salon was clean. I also like that staff cleans and sanitize after each client. The music was a vibe too. Thank you Candice for taking great care of me. She was very patient and informative. My service was a shampoo, which was really relaxing, and a detail style with curls. Also I like that everyone took their time with their clients. No one seemed to be rush or stressed.“

“My first time here! I was a walk-in. Drove an hour reading google reviews. They were all very nice to me. The place was super clean! They provide hair and reasonable prices. I got there at 3 and was out little after 7. I can only complain about the back of my hair. The owner did a great job on the front. The older women who helped her made my parts really big in the back. She also only added hair at the office my real hair. The front don't match the back very uneven. I called and if the back could be fixed. Gave me a time and date. Did a better job and was nice about it and apologized for the time.“
