Thank you Avery Monuments for a great professional job on my moms headstone! As always great customer service and pricing !
I first heard about Avery Monuments when I visited a Flea Market in East Ridge, TN and my wife and I were looking for flowers mounted on a saddle for my grand-mother and great grand parent's headstones. Lavon, one half of the Avery Monuments team was selling her cemetary flowers but also had some sample headstones that her husband, Bill, created out of Georgia dark gray Granite. It got my wife and I to thinking, why not order our headstone while we're living and give our kids one less thing to worry about when we pass on. The first week of April we visited their family business located in Flintstone, GA. At their office we looked over some monument samples they had outside the office in their parking lot as well as a photo album that gave us plenty of ideas. We paid a deposit and placed an order that day with the understanding we would pass some ideas back for Bill Avery to review and create something for us to look at and then tweak to our liking. We decided to go all out and put Bill to the test with our ideas and he came through with flying colors. Bill is a true artist when it comes to working with stone. With Bill's help we incorporated my passion which is hiking and my wife's love for her two Yorkies into our headstone as well as a beautiful recessed colored ceramic photo of the two of us on the front of the headstone and then on the back he provided us with a beautiful scenery of a man and wife walking a path to their cabin with snow capped mountains and evergreens to boot. He delivered the completed headstone with base and granite vases on each side and set it up on our plot this morning next to my grandmother's headstone and his skills with the stone really amazed us. Their pricing will beat out any of their competitors and there is no way you won't be impressed with his finished product. Just give them a little breathing room as far as the time to complete your order and be ready to be wowed. The time required is dependent on his current workload and the local weather but I guarantee give him the time that he needs and he will amaze you with his talents. This man handles approximately 500 monuments a year and he is a one man factory - Unbelievable! I think you will agree his work is beyond reproach...
