Horrible customer service and patient care. The infusion center is the most inattentive, unprofessional infusion center I have been to. My very first nurse Danielle was exceptionally professional, attentive and genuinely cared about her patients. You could see she treated everyone with respect, had a pleasant attitude and was truly a caring nurse. Unfortunately, this infusion center is overwhelmed by rude, angry, bitter, complaining, unprofessional nurses who have a chip on their shoulders, mistreat patients based on how they feel or personal issues, etc. The nurse Cheryll today was inattentive and very unpleasant. She was not listed as the infusion nurse for my visit but I was somehow switched to her. She never once checked on me during the 1.5 hour infusion. She left me in the room and never returned until my relative had to hail her down and ask can I have something to drink. This is usually offered before the nurse leaves you and they periodically check on you. She never came in the room, and when she did by force she made sure not to make eye contact or even address me. I understand nurses and workloads as I work in the medical field and care for patients that are extremely ill, but to not check on a patient yet she was consistently in another patient's room next to me catering to them every few minutes, but continuously disregarded me as insignificant. This is unprofessional and rude. She never offered me anything as my first nurse did during my February 29th visit. The nurses I had at this location the last 2 weeks for my infusions were inattentive and unprofessional but today's nurse was the worst of all. It is an insult to the profession of a nurse by calling her a nurse. The nurse last week at least offered me water and a pack of crackers and checked on me, although her attitude and disposition was questionable and off putting. Cheryll offered me nothing and was MIA the entire infusion - literally avoiding coming in the room. Very odd how she was in the room the entire time with the patient next to me and never once checked on me. I had to wait and try to catch her in the hallway. I understand you have multiple patients with different issues but that doesnt mean ignore and not check on another patient you deem not important. I could have passed out or needed assistance. She literally avoided coming in the room until we forced her or the machine beeped incessantly. They don't know how I was feeling or how my condition affects me. Cheryll acted like I was not there. Having a previous infusion or being on a final does not mean ignore me. I am a patient. I will never come back to this location ever again for any infusion or service. This was extremely offensive and appalling for a nurse to act and behave in this manner. Over the past few years the individuals they are allowing to be nurses or operate in this field is underwhelming and frightening. Patient care does not appear to be a concern, it is just a paycheck. A nurse who behaves and operates in this manner would not be in any reputable hospital or medical facility. If you have a problem with people or you want to treat people differently based on your own personal issues and insecurities, then nursing or any patient facing occupation is not for you. Kaiser Permanente should be ashamed for having such individuals work as infusion nurses.

I have never regretted a decision more than choosing KP for my health insurance. I have spent four months with over 40 calls to try to get a good referral for my daughter's occupational therapy. I have filed multiple complaints and their customer retention specialist, two months after filing the complaint, sent me back to the exact same provider that couldn't help me as they were not taking patients. I am convinced that KP has been trained to just stall until the patient gives up or moves on to another provider.

DO NOT GET KAISER PERMANENTE INSURANCE EVER. Absolute worst patient service. Must go through main call center for everything. Some representatives nice & helpful; many others rude & condescending. 3 days ago had bad accident. Immediately went to 3 hospital ERs. 1st the one nearest home 45-minutes away, 2nd Kaiser "Advanced Care" 90- minutes from my home, not a full-fledged ER, a glorified Urgent Care. 3rd a well-respected hospital, affiliated with Kaiser. I was examined & told I require surgery within 5 days. All together, took 14 hours & 300 miles driving. Luckily, wife was home when accident occurred. Scheduled appointment for today with Kaiser Ortho PA-C, which was cancelled this morning, as she called out sick. Must only have one at this location. Next closest Kaiser location to me is 3 hours away, 6-hour round trip. Next available appointment March 26, 20 days after accident. Can't call any doctor or department directly, must leave messages thru call center reps, who say call will be returned within 72 hours. Injury occurred 3 days ago, 72 hours = 3 more days, 1 day after required surgery date & that's to speak with someone, not to have an appointment or schedule surgery. Found an out-of-Kaiser specialist at top hospital, where Kaiser surgeons operate, who can see me Monday, 3 more days but can't without Kaiser referral. Called Kaiser again, 5th time today, over total of 7 hours. Requested a referral. Was told they'd send the message but it takes 7 to 10 days for a "Board Review." A person could have permanent damage or die before being seen & taken care of by Kaiser. Why pay astronomical prices for coverage to get none. I'd be better off having no insurance. I don't know what to do. I'm scared, angry & worried that I am going to be forever damaged, unable to use my dominant right hand, wrist & arm. Please don't get Kaiser. If you have Kaiser, cancel & purchase insurance that will actually cover you, especially in emergency situations.
