I do not exaggerate when I say the nurses, from intake on, are satanic. They are genuinely evil and rude to their core. Dr. Phu Thai is wonderful but please hear me when I say the nurses make the entire experience unbearable. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with nurses at the Alpharetta building but that one doesn't have Advanced (urgent) Care. Kaiser, please open an Advanced Care Center in Alpharetta and staff it with people with good bedside manner and weren't born of Satan (and I hope my tone doesn't suggest sarcasm, I'm completely serious).

Today I developed a UTI. I knew I had a UTI and left work early(1:30) to go to urgent care at Kaiser which apparently is called Advanced Care Center even though when I asked where urgent care was and if I was at the urgent care part of the building I was told I was. I was called back fairly quickly and optimistic at first. I told them my systems and that I was coming in to be treated for a UTI. They said they needed to do a urine test and did an exam. The urine test came back negative and then apparently things got really concerning for some reason. All of the sudden I needed a ultrasound, pelvic exam, an IV and blood test. I expressed how I didn't think that was necessary and I didn't want to be there forever but the doctor insisted. 3.5 hours later I am told all of my test come back good and they did not find anything wrong. The doctor who gave me my results was a different doctor than I had seen earlier in my visit. I confirmed with him that with all these test we found out nothing regarding what was actually wrong. He then asks me to repeat my systems and states that he would have treated me for a UTI and that all of those tests weren't necessary..... This treatment was way overkill and a complete waste of my time. Instead of getting prescribed the medicine and having time to go home and rest before another work day tomorrow I spent hours at Kaiser and got home a hour later than I would have on a normal work day. I will not be going back to Kaiser "Advanced Care Center" and would love a refund for my $60 copay and expect to not be charged for the unnecessary tests. Not only was my time wasted but the time of the +-10 healthcare providers I saw was also wasted.

Horrible customer service and patient care. The infusion center is the most inattentive, unprofessional infusion center I have been to. My very first nurse Danielle was exceptionally professional, attentive and genuinely cared about her patients. You could see she treated everyone with respect, had a pleasant attitude and was truly a caring nurse. Unfortunately, this infusion center is overwhelmed by rude, angry, bitter, complaining, unprofessional nurses who have a chip on their shoulders, mistreat patients based on how they feel or personal issues, etc. The nurse Cheryll today was inattentive and very unpleasant. She was not listed as the infusion nurse for my visit but I was somehow switched to her. She never once checked on me during the 1.5 hour infusion. She left me in the room and never returned until my relative had to hail her down and ask can I have something to drink. This is usually offered before the nurse leaves you and they periodically check on you. She never came in the room, and when she did by force she made sure not to make eye contact or even address me. I understand nurses and workloads as I work in the medical field and care for patients that are extremely ill, but to not check on a patient yet she was consistently in another patient's room next to me catering to them every few minutes, but continuously disregarded me as insignificant. This is unprofessional and rude. She never offered me anything as my first nurse did during my February 29th visit. The nurses I had at this location the last 2 weeks for my infusions were inattentive and unprofessional but today's nurse was the worst of all. It is an insult to the profession of a nurse by calling her a nurse. The nurse last week at least offered me water and a pack of crackers and checked on me, although her attitude and disposition was questionable and off putting. Cheryll offered me nothing and was MIA the entire infusion - literally avoiding coming in the room. Very odd how she was in the room the entire time with the patient next to me and never once checked on me. I had to wait and try to catch her in the hallway. I understand you have multiple patients with different issues but that doesnt mean ignore and not check on another patient you deem not important. I could have passed out or needed assistance. She literally avoided coming in the room until we forced her or the machine beeped incessantly. They don't know how I was feeling or how my condition affects me. Cheryll acted like I was not there. Having a previous infusion or being on a final does not mean ignore me. I am a patient. I will never come back to this location ever again for any infusion or service. This was extremely offensive and appalling for a nurse to act and behave in this manner. Over the past few years the individuals they are allowing to be nurses or operate in this field is underwhelming and frightening. Patient care does not appear to be a concern, it is just a paycheck. A nurse who behaves and operates in this manner would not be in any reputable hospital or medical facility. If you have a problem with people or you want to treat people differently based on your own personal issues and insecurities, then nursing or any patient facing occupation is not for you. Kaiser Permanente should be ashamed for having such individuals work as infusion nurses.
